Lenovo has quietly dropped a new budget-friendly slate in India, simply called the Lenovo Tab, and it’s aiming to deliver just enough features for casual streaming, browsing, and light productivity — without stretching your wallet.

The device packs a 10.1-inch WUXGA LCD panel with a modest 60Hz refresh rate and 400 nits peak brightness. Thick bezels frame the screen, which also houses a 5MP front-facing camera in landscape mode for video calls. Under the hood, Lenovo is using MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G85, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. A microSD slot means you can bump that up if you need more room.

Power comes from a 5,100mAh battery with 15W charging, and you still get a 3.5mm headphone jack alongside dual speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos. There’s also an 8MP rear camera for basic shots. At 425 grams, the Lenovo Tab is light enough for one-handed reading sessions, and it ships with Android 14-based ZUI 16, with two promised OS updates.

You can grab it in Luna Grey or Polar Blue, in Wi-Fi-only or LTE-enabled flavors. Pricing starts at ₹10,999 (about $125) for the 4GB/64GB Wi-Fi model, going up to ₹12,999 ($150) for the LTE variant, available now on Amazon and Lenovo’s own store.
