Intel has been estimating a great rate of adoption for its newest Core i and Atom chips that are to be included in the newest mobile devices. Lenovo is one of the manufacturers that has shown a great interest for these implementations, going forward and announcing its newest MIIX Series devices.
The Lenovo MIIX series basic characteristics include the Windows 8 operating system and the Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processors. The most important device in this category is the MIIX 10 Tablet coming with a great design and 1366 x 768 pixel, 10-inch IPS display.
Offering up to 10 hours of battery life, the Lenovo MiiX 10 should be a great performer in this category, benefiting from the advanced features of the CPU. The tablet also comes with a 1.3Mp camera and folio case that acts both as a cover for the tablet and as a physical keyboard. It should bare a price tag close to $600 when it will start rolling out in July. As far as a smaller 8-inch version is concerned, Lenovo is rumored to have it in time for the launch of Windows 8.1.
