There is no such thing as a last minute entry in the Android mobile devices market. The PC and networking oriented manufacturer – Lenovo has plans for a strong entry in the Android world with notebook/tablet hybrid device(s).
Lenovo has unveiled during this year’s CES event the notebook/tablet hybrid mobile device in the IdeaPad Yoga family. Wishing to expand the line-up, the manufacturer has announced plans to release an Android based notebook/tablet hybrid device in the first half of 2013.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga Android notebook/tablet hybrid will be powered either by an ARM based hardware configuration or one with the Intel chipset. The last is the most likely as Lenovo has had a strong partnership with the chip manufacturer and they are likely to do so for the near future. The Lenovo Yoga 11S will be powered by an Intel Core i5 CPU, an 11.6-inch HD IPS display with 10-point multitouch and running Windows 8.
