Kobo, one of the manufacturers well known for its eBook reader devices is preparing right now a new product that will offer an E-ink display and a water and dust-proof case. This device is called the Kobo Aura H20 and we get to know that it recently received certification from FCC.
Kobo Aura H20 will come with a 6.8-inch E-Ink Carta display with a 1.430 x 1.080 pixel resolution, 1 GHz processor, 4 GB of storage, a microSD card reader, WiFi, IP67 certification and an illuminated display. This device can resist under water in up to a meter for a half hour as long as the USB port cover is closed.
This new eReader will weight just 232 grams and it will be priced at $179. Also, we get to know the fact that this device will arrive on the market starting September 1st. Even if is more expensive than other eReaders on the market, this one bring something that no one has, the waterproof certification.
