Just today, the Russian mobile operator Megafone announced that the Irbis TW81 tablet is now available on sale for only $79. Interesting about this device is that it runs Windows 10 operating system out of the box, and that it also brings cellular connectivity with voice call support.
In terms of specs, we’re getting a 8-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor that is clocked at 1.83 GHz, and only 1 GB of RAM. There’s an Intel HD Graphics chip, 16 GB space of internal storage + microSD card slot up to 32 GB and a 2-megapixel rear camera.
We’ll get support for 2G and 3G networks, a VGA front-facing camera and a single-SIM slot. Irbis TW81 tablets offers the following connectivity options: Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a microUSB v2.0 and of course, a 3.5 mm audio jack. Inside the 380 grams body we find a 4200 mAh battery that should offer at least one day of working.
