We’ve got an interesting picture here, one that would certainly be a candidate for the title of “picture of the day”, involving an iPad. Apparently, some soldiers from Syria are preparing to fire a mortar and they’re adjusting its angle using an iPad.
As you know, iOS 7 brings in its compass app a stabilization tool, to let you know how level a certain plane is. Of course, there’s not actually a proper way of know what those guys were doing, since they could be using the slate for something else. They may have calculations on it, news regarding the conflict or God knows what else.
The idea of a firing angle tool is interesting and we’ve heard about well selling gadgets in the past being used for warmongering. The PS2 and PS3 internal chips have been stripped in the Middle East at some point and used as rocket guidance systems.
