A new set of iPad Mini 6 renders is upon us, taking the form of a set of concept renders, that encapsulate all the leaked info we saw recently. We also learn that the diagonal of the device is now 8.4 inches apparently.

The last iPad Mini we saw was the iPad Mini 5, launched two years ago, so it’s time for an update. That will come in September, when Apple unveils its iPhone 13 lineup. We’ve seen leaks before, confirming a bigger diagonal, no Touch ID and no Home button, plus a format akin to the iPad Air 4. Designer Michael Ma decided to publish his work on Behance and revealed to the world his vision for a more angular iPad Mini, with flat edges.

That flat edges appeared on the iPhone 12 series and were also seen on the new colorful iMac and new iPads. The device is said to adopt an 8.4 inch screen with narrow and symmetrical bezels, a Liquid Retina display with 60 Hz refresh rate, but apparently it’s not a mini-LED panel in spite of rumors. The source also mentions measurements for the iPad Mini 6: 206 x 138 x 6.1 mm.

The product will come in Space Gray, Rose Gold and Sky Blue and inside we’ll find the Apple A14 processor seen on the iPhone 12. Storage will be 64, 128 or 256 GB and we’ll also have support for Apple Pencil (3rd gen), plus the device will be available in Wi-Fi and 5G versions. The Touch ID Power button will be placed at the top, like on the iPad Air 4.

It’s not very clear if the bottom port is a Lightning or USB-C, but we’ll learn that in a month or so.
