After the launch from the very begging of this month, it looks that now the iPad Air 2 tablet arrives in the GeekBench app, a benchmark test that reveals something pretty interesting. As we already know, the new iPad Air tablet measures now just 6.1 mm in thickness and it also brings a Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

Through the GeekBench test we get to know that on the iPad Air 2 tab;et we have a triple-core Apple A8X processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM memory, a component that was seen in a lot of pictures a lot of times before the official announcement of the tablet in case.

As we can see from the screenshots above, the iPad Air 2 gets 1812 points in the single-core test, and 4477 points in the multi-core test. It remains to see if Apple will surprise us next year with a triple-core processor on the iPhone 6s too or not.
