The weekend starts with 3 fresh shots of the iPad Air 2, that leaked online courtesy of the Hungarian site iMagazin. They posted these leaked pictures of the new iPad Air that seem to go along with the previously leaked ones.
They confirm both the fact that the new tablet will be thinner and the presence of a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The iPad Air shown here is pictured next to an iPhone 5s, for comparison sake and this model adopts a single row of speakers at the bottom unlike its predecessor and the iPad Minis. The design is still sloped and the edges of the screen kind of big for current standards, but I guess they’ll do.
The iPad Air 2 is expected to be unveiled sometime before the year is out, most likely together with the iPhone 6 during next month’s event. We’re expecting an Apple A8 processor inside, an improved back camera, more RAM and potentially some screen modifications, but that’s not guaranteed. I wouldn’t count out a bigger battery inside…
