Five Technology is a firm from Shenzhen, that just announced a new tablet, dubbed iFive Pro 2. This model is pictured below and comes with Android on board, plus a keyboard dock. This model has a back that imitates the texture of leather and also a fingerprint scanner upfront.
Its specs are quite solid, including a 9.7 inch Retina Display with IPS panel and a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, while inside the device we find a Rockchip RK3288 quad core CPU, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. There’s an USB Type C port in the mix, as well as a special 5 contact keyboard port. Cameras are excellent for a slate, including the 13 MP back shooter and a 5 MP front camera.
This device has a metal chassis and its back side is actually made of artificial leather, offering it a premium look. iFive Pro 2 resembles the iPad a tad, but also the Samsung Galaxy Tab models. Its back camera has a flash and I wouldn’t be surprised if phone calling was available here as a feature. We have no idea what the price is.
