While all the big players on the mobile market brought only one or two products at CES 2015, out there we had some producers that released pretty interesting devices like the guys from Toshiba. They introduced the Encore 2 Write tablet that arrives in 8 and 10.1-inch variants.
Also, these new devices are coming in the package with a TruPen stylus based on the Wacom Feel technology that supports up to 2048 pressure points, this level being found on the S-Pen stylus from Note 4. Being a Windows 8.1 tablet, Encore 2 Write brings a one-year Microsoft Office 365 Personal subscription, and a couple of Toshiba own apps.
From the hardware point of view, Toshiba Encore 2 Write offers a 1.280 x 800 pixels panel, an Intel Atom processor, 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot up to 128 GB. We also get a microUSB port, a microHDMI one and a 8-megapixel rear camera.
In terms of prices, the 8-inch version of the Toshiba Encore 2 Write will be sold for a $350 price-tag, while the 10.1-inch variant can be bought for $500. These tablets will be available in US starting January 11th.
