Acer was present at IFA 2014 today, launching three brand new tablets, aside from a few notebooks and other devices. They debuted the Acer Iconia Tab 8 W, the Acer Iconia Tab 10 and the Acer Iconia One tablet with an 8 inch screen.
The Acer Iconia Tab 8 W features an 8 inch screen, Windows 8.1 with Bing and comes bundled with productivity apps, like Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel and Word. It relies on an Intel Atom Z3735G quad core processor and has dual stereo speakers. This slate has an optional Acer Crunch Keyboard, that’s quite easy to carry around apparently. The product will arrive in November, priced at $149.99.
Iconia Tab 10 integrates a 10.1 inch Full HD IPS LCD with Gorilla Glass protection. It features Dolby Digital Plus surround sound speakers and 5.1 channel sound via stereo headphones. This model runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat and uses a MediaTek quad core processor. It’s expected to come to USA in September, with a starting price of $199. Finally, the Acer Iconia One 8 is an 8 inch 1280 x 800 pixel unit with a colourful back.
The colors available here include Jade Green, Sunshine Yellow, Vivid Orange, Sky Blue and more. This unit is expected in Europe priced at 149 euros from October.
