Huawei is preparing a new phablet, but not one with a regular size, but rather a 7 inch giant. Huawei already had the huge Ascend Mate 2 and now it has a 7 incher coming, one that reminds me of the ASUS FonePad.
The picture shown above makes the Galaxy Note 3 look like a dwarf compared to the Huawei model. The source of the leak claims this is not a tablet, but rather a phablet, so I’m expecting phone features here. The rumors say that this product will measure 7.5 mm in thickness and it will weigh 239 grams.
On the hardware side we’ll get a quad core Hisilicon V9R1 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and the 7 inch screen supports a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. Finally, other specs include 2 GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera and Android 4.2.2. The same rumors talk about a $200 price tag, but sadly I don’t expect we’ll ever see this product outside Asia.
