HP Split X2 is a notebook tablet hybrid, that’s available now in USA with a price tag of $750 and some interesting specs. this is a 13.3 inch notebook basically, that can be turned into a slate when need be.
Its features include 4 GB of RAM, a 128 GB SSD and the Split X2 can explain its name with its form factor. This Windows 8 device can split into 2 sections, with one being the tablet and the other the keyboard. The slate relies on an Intel Core i3 Ivy Bridge CPU at 1.4 GHz, a 13.3 inch display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and it all weighs 1 kg.
The keyboard adds enough bulk to make the unit weigh 2.2 kg and the thickness is taken up to 2.28 cm, up from 1 cm.
