Last month Honor held an event unveiling the Magic 3 series, a new watch and a tablet. The device is dubbed Honor Tablet V7 in China and it’s going to be called Tab V7 outside China. It also has a Pro version, shown in August, Now we learn that it’s going to launch in stores on September 26th, but with some changes from the original version.
Honor Tab V7 gets two changes: a downgrade in hardware and also a design change, according to the teaser above. It was posted on Weibo as a teaser for the debut on September 26th. The Power key and volume keys have been placed in the same upper left corner, but the sides will be slightly rounded and not flat. This means tht the Magic Pencil 2 won’t be able to attach magnetically to the long side.
The specs should stay the same, with a MediaTek Kompanio 1300T processor, an 11 inch 2K IPS LCD display with 16:10 aspect and 120 Hz refresh rate. There’s also RAM expansion technology and camera-wise, there’s a 13 MP shooter, accompanied by a 2 MP Macro cam. Interestingly, the device runs on Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 on top. It’s been optimized for multitasking and offers features like multiwindow, split screen, drag and drop and more.
The battery is a 7250 mAh unit with support for 22.5W fast charging. The pricing of the tablet is expected to be less than $400 for the base model.
