HONOR has dropped more details on its upcoming MagicPad 3 Pro, and it looks like one of the most ambitious Android tablets we’ve seen so far. Launching in China this October, it will be the first tablet to run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset — the same high-end processor expected to power next-gen Android flagships.

The MagicPad 3 Pro is built around a massive 13.3-inch LCD panel with a sharp 3.2K resolution (3200 x 2136) and an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. HONOR is also highlighting eye-protection features for long sessions, which feels aimed at both gamers and productivity users. Powering the large display is a 12,450mAh battery, paired with the company’s new self-developed E2 efficiency chip to squeeze out more uptime.

On the software side, HONOR is pushing its cross-ecosystem MagicOS 10, which allows files and data to move easily between iOS, HarmonyOS, and Android devices. The tablet will ship with a detachable smart keyboard and a pressure-sensitive stylus, positioning it as a direct competitor to the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and iPad Pro.

Design-wise, the MagicPad 3 Pro will come in three colors — Starry Gray, Floating Light Gold, and Moon Shadow White — and the teaser images reveal IMAX Enhanced branding on the back, along with a dual-camera setup and LED flash. More details, including pricing and the official launch date, should arrive ahead of its October debut, likely alongside the Magic8 smartphone lineup.
