After two generations of the Nexus 7 tablet that were developed by Asus, it seems that Google will choose another OEM this time for the successor device. According to a post from the Chinese platform Weibo, Google might pick out Huawei for this job, company that already built a Nexus device for the IT giant, and that one is the Huawei Nexus 6P phablet.
In the same time, this post reveals the fact that the 2016 Nexus 7 project had already begun, the tablet being rumored for a 2016 launch. For the moment we don’t have any details about its hardware package, or about its design language, but we expect to see some interesting changes here.
A 7-inch variant of the actual Huawei Nexus 6P will be pretty interesting to see, as the phablet in case brings an attractive design, and a premium body made out of aluminum and glass. Well, we just have to sit tight and wait for more information to pop-up.
