While unboxing the Romanian tablet E-Boda Supreme IPS Dual Core X200 tablet I couldn’t shake the feeling that the device was actually inside a… “pizza box”, because of the fact that the box was very wide and big. We’re dealing here with a 9.7 inch slate, that costs $312 and if you buy it from its maker, you get a free case.

E-Boda Supreme IPS Dual Core X200 features a 9.7 inch 1024 x 768 pixel display, an IPS panel with 10 point multitouch and inside it there’s a dual core Rockchip 1.5 GHz processor, with a Mali quad core GPU at 400 MHz. This is a Cortex A9 CPU, the one mentioned before, in case you’re wondering. Other specs include 1 GB of DDR3RAM, 8 GB of storage, plus an 8 GB microSD card bundled with the device. The slate runs Android 4.0 ICS, it has WiFi, but it doesn’t have Bluetooth or GPS.

There are two cameras available here, a 2 MP one at the back and a front 0.3 MP shooter. The product measures 11.7 mm in thickness and weighs 600 grams. The device has an 8000 mAh battery, that promises 6 hours of functioning time and there’s also a mini HDMI on board, plus two microUSB ports. More details in the review coming in a few days!
