Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo has just introduced the thinnest tablet with LTE connectivity: Medias Tab N-06D. This model is also waterproof and it comes with support for new broadcasting services such as V-High. This device is made by NEC Casio Mobile Communications and it’s detailed after the break.

Medias Tab N-06D uses a 7 inch WXGA display, a 1.2GHz processor, a mobile TV tuner and great quality speakers. The product weighs a mere 350 grams, measures 9.9mm in thickness and supports LTE, 3G HSPA and GSM connectivity. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and its CPU mentioned above is the Qualcomm APQ8060 type. There’s also a dual camera on board with 2MP resolution, a microSD card slot, WiFi, infrared, NFC, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. No idea what the price is here, but I guess it’s pretty affordable, since the device is sold by a carrier and it’s small and runs Android 2.3.

The only thing I don’t like about the Medias Tab N-06D is its huge side bezels and hose touch buttons on the case, that I bet are not responsive at all. Let’s hope at least that the battery life is good…
