Dell unveiled this week two new tablets, the Dell Venue 8 Pro and Venue 10 Pro models, with Windows 10 on board. The devices also have USB Type C ports in common and bring Intel Atom quad core processors, plus 4 GB of RAM. Venue 8 Pro has an 8 inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, while the Venue 10 Pro relies on a 10.1 inch Full HD display.
Both models come with detachable keyboards as the image above shows. The 10 inch device brings 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 64 or 128 GB of storage and Intel HD Graphics 5300 included. A microSD card slot is also here, plus high quality speakers and microphones. The chipset of choice on the slate is an Intel Atom Z8500 quad core unit, clocked at up to 2.24 GHz.
Intel dual band wireless is included in the mix too, plus optional NFC. A micro HDMI port also makes the cut, plus a 32 Whr battery and the whole package measures 9.85 mm in height. The weight is around 2.8 lbs, with keyboard. GPS is also included in one of the setups available of the bigger model. Dell claims that the Venue 8 Pro will go for $299 and come in November, while the Venue 10 Pro will come for $429.
