If you’re fascinated by the dual usage of Windows and Android on a Chinese slate, well, how about Ubuntu for a change? The model pictured below is dubbed Cube i7-CM and it’s an Intel Core M device with Ubuntu as the OS. Also, its price is very good!
The Cube i7-CM is actually a budget version of the Cube i7, a tablet that got a lot of positive feedback from buyers, who shelled out $581 for the device. Now we’ve got the newcomer, priced at $399 and being probably the cheapest Core-M device to date. The internal storage is now 64 GB, but we still get a SSD SATA 3 drive inside, an improvement over the usual eMMC storage.
i7-CM comes with 3G connectivity and a premium case, made of sturdy aluminum. The CPU used here is an Intel Core-M 5Y10c dual core one, with 14 nm manufacturing process. The screen is an 11.6 inch IPS with a Full HD resolution and other specs include 4 GB of DDR3L RAM and a two cell 5000 mAh battery. A bonus is the micro HDMI port, as well as the microSD one.
You can get the product from Cube’s website.
