As we get to know today, Chuwi will start selling the LapBook 12.3 notebook in May this year – product that will cost you only $349. This is a pretty decent price taking in consideration the hardware package and if you’re not informed then you must know that we’re dealing here with a great notebook, one that packs 6 GB RAM and the new Intel Apollo Lake N3450 CPU.
There’s an Intel Gen9 HD Graphics chipset, a big 12.3 inch display with 3:2 aspect ratio and 2736 x 1824 pixels resolution, 64 GB of eMMC internal storage and a microSD card slot up to 128 GB. Also, we’ll be able to insert up to a 256 GB M2 SSD. Inside the casing we get a 36.48Wh Lithium-polymer battery that should offer a lot of on-screen time.
Chuwi LapBook 12.3 will run Windows 10 or Ubuntu-TBD operating system, and in terms of the connectivity we’ll get a miniHDMI port, 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x USB 2.0 port and Wi-Fi 2.4/5Ghz dual-band. A 2-megapixel camera is found here and also an Intel 3165 Bluetooth chip. So there you have it, a great notebook device that will be available for a great price as well!
