Chuwi is a pretty popular tablet brand from China, that just unveiled a new version of its HiPad Pro slate. The newcomer is the HiPad Pro 2022, with 4G LTE connectivity and also with some hardware changes. You can find them below.

Back in July 2021, Chuwi released the HiPad Pro tablet, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor inside. It was a slim and light device, with high performance. The screen was only Full HD and the CPU wasn’t very gaming-prone. After half a year of R&D, the new Chuwi HiPad Pro is here with some upgrades. The resolution of the 10.8 inch panel has been bumped up to 2.5K and the CPU is now a MediaTek Helio G95, which should be good enough for gaming.

The new HiPad Pro has a punch hole screen with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and 97% DCi P3 color gamut. Inside we find the MediaTek Helio G95 processor, a flagship CPU already present on quite a few smartphones. It achieves 320.000 points in AnTuTu 9 and uses a Mali 76 GPU. This is a Widevine L1 digitally certified device, which means it can let you enjoy premium content from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and other providers.

The product should be in stores this month with a price below $299. It runs on Android 11 and we don’t have the full info on the RAM and storage. It should be published here.
