Chuwi has a new tablet incoming, a model with a 10.1 inch screen and hybrid attributes, dubbed Chuwi HiBook Pro. The device will be priced at just $249 and it’ll be available from August 22nd, with a very generous screen resolution.
This product relies on an Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5 processor, good enough to make quite a few high profile slates tick, plus Intel HD Graphics Gen 8 GPU. There’s also a 10.1 inch 2560 x 1600 display on board with 16:10 aspect ratio and it’s an OGS fully laminated screen for that matter. The battery is a very generous 8000 mAh unit, bundled with a 5V/3A charger.
This is a modern device, so I can’t say I’m surprised by the USB Type C port on board. Then there’s 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a 5 MP/2 MP camera combo. Chuwi HiBook Pro is a dual OS affair, with both Windows 10 and Android 5.1 in the mix. The design isn’t half bad, with an aluminum full metal body that’s only 8.5 mm slim and weighs 550 grams.
