Have you ever imagined Chrome on a touch table? Well, it would look something like the screenshots below, that were done with the aid of a Chrome OS daily build for Tegra 2 devices. The dude who discovered that build can’t share it with the world just yet…

Previously we’ve heard of a touch interface for Chrome OS being complied, but nothing official was announced. Hopefully this nice UI will make it to tablets and other Android devices, but you must know that it’s a mere work in progress, so there’s some waiting time before you’ll test it. I can’t help but think that implementing Chrome OS on tablets and finding it to run better than Honeycomb will kill the latter…

Or maybe Honeycomb and Chrome OS will blend into one magnificent platform, who knows? However, it would be about time that Google released a hot browser for its Android devices. The stock one in Android is OK, but we’re certainly digging alternatives like Dolphin and Firefox 4/5, in spite of their temporary lack of Flash. Once they get that fixed, they’ll become very good alternatives to the stock browser.
