Beside the ThinkPad X1 tablet, the Chinese company Lenovo also unveiled today the hybrid tablet IdeaPad MIIX 700 Business Edition. This combination of a slate and a notebook device looks pretty interesting, with a design that includes a kickstand. Such an introduction is very popular at the moment for those tablets with screen sizes above 10 inches.
You must know that Lenovo MIIX 700 Business Edition comes with a 12-inch display (2160 x 144 pixels), panel that offers Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a 400 nit brightness. As you can notice from the pictures, we’re getting a tablet that can be used as a notebook, thanks to the keyboard dock included in the package.
This tablet announced by Lenovo also packs an Intel Core m7 vPro processor, a dedicated stylus, and an enterprise-level security system with built-in TPM chip (Trusted Platform Module). Thanks to the Intel RealSense R200 3D camera found on this tablet, users will be able to unlock their device using Windows Hello feature included in Windows 10.
Among other specs we get up to 8 GB of RAM memory, and up to 256 GB of SSD memory. This 1.45 kg device will be launched in stores in February, moment when the price tag will also be revealed.
