Blackview is introducing a new tablet model, one with a large screen and affordable price tag: Blackview Mega 5. We’re dealing with a 12.2 incher, with AI for productivity and also with stylus support. It also has 12 GB of RAM and it’s detailed below.
Design-wise, the device is available in black or blue and it sports narrow bezels. MEGA 5 measures only 7.6 mm in thickness and it comes bundled with quite a few accessories: stylus, wireless mouse, headphones, keyboard, case, glass protection for the screen. Blackview provides a rather large display, with a 2.4K resolution and a 236 ppi density, as well as a 94.2% screen to body ratio.

But it doesn’t stop here, as it also offers Low Blue Light TUV certification and Widevine L1 certification, that allows FHD streaming on major streaming platforms. Inside we find an octa core Unisoc T7300 processor, good enough for Office tasks and multimedia use. It hits 651k points in AnTuTu and also comes with 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a microSD card slot and 12 GB of RAM.

The 10.000 mAh battery offers up to 9 hours of video playback and charges at 55W via wire. The tablet also brings stereo speakers, a front 13 MP camera and back 16 MP shooter. It runs on Android 16 with DokeOS 5.0 on top, providing AI models like DeepSeek, OpenAI, Gemini. There’s also a PC Mode 3.0, that offers up to 8 tasks, a taskbar and an UI optimized for multitasking. There’s also LTE available.
