RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook will be released next month, it seems, with Best Buy preparing the product for April’s end, so finding out that the device has just hit the FCC is the next logical step. Only the WiFi model has reached the US authority, in 16, 32 and 64GB flavors and there’s no trace of an 8GB model that was rumored a while ago.

As far as pricing is concerned, we’ve heard talk of $399.99 for the 8GB version, $499.99 for the 16GB PlayBook and an extra $100 for the 32GB one. This possibly adds another Benjamin to the 64GB BlackBerry tablet. These are all WiFi models, so expect a price increase, on the WiMAX, LTE and 3G versions are released.

  • The Blackberry Playbook is a long-awaited, ground breaking device whose roll out was recently announced by Research in Motion (RIM). This awesome new device delivers everything users have dreamed of in a tablet: terrific video, apps, gaming, and web experience.
