BenQ has a mega tablet detailed this week, the PT2200 model, shown below. This device is 21.5 inch slate that can easily replace a PC thanks to its huge diagonal. The newcomer offers a 16:9 aspect ratio and apparently it offers a special technology that doesn’t damage the eyes, especially in the case of children.

Inside the slate we find a quad core 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB of DDR3 RAM and the BenQ PT2200 also comes with high speed WiFi. It has a 720p front camera and this model is preloaded with Android 4.2, with all the goodies associated to it. PT2200 is compatible with SD cards and can be connected to a large capacity HDD, if need be. We also learn that the product has a special intelligent dual mode functionality.

You can control this model via touch as a standalone device, but you can also connect it to a desktop PC via HDMI or USB cable and use it as a large touchscreen for that PC. You can also download special apps for your smartphone and control this tablet remotely. I see this is promoted as a product for families and this all in one model has LAN connectivity, a Full HD resolution, 8 GB of on board storage, two USB ports, one microUSB port and a HDMI connection.
