Axon Logic is preparing to launch a tablet that’s able to run any OS compatible with the Darwin platform. This means that the device is capable of running OSX without issues. Of course, it will be nearly impossible to get Apple’s license for this, but one must continue dreaming, right? Remember the Hackintosh netbooks, anyone?
Axon’s slate will be priced around $800 and it’ll supposedly feature a capacitive touch display, although previous claims mentioned a resistive screen and stylus input. This project reminds us of the Modbook a bit, but on the cheap side.
