One of the slimmest tablets on the market right now is the ASUS ZenPad 3S 10, but it also comes with a quality design and very good specs. The product is ready for its US debut, as a major iPad Air rival. ASUS has announced on Twitter that the product is coming to US this November, without also saying a specific date.
The device has been available in Europe and Asia for a while now, but it only now reaches the US market. This slate has a premium design, a 9.7 inch screen with a 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution and an aluminum body with a 5.8 mm waistline. There’s also a 78% screen to body ratio and Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the OS of choice, possibly with an Android Nougat update coming soon.
Inside we find a hexa core MediaTek MT8176 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage, as well as a 5900 mAh battery. There’s a fingerprint scanner too and the product is being promoted on account of its dual speakers with DTS HD Premium sound, plus DTS X headphone jack. Finally, we also get an 8 megapixel main camera, a 5 MP front shooter and it all costs around $299, not too shaby for an iPad Air rival.
This is the second ASUS tablet launching in US this fall, after the ZenPad Z10 offered by Verizon.
