CES 2012 included a new version of the Transformer Prime, the full HD TF700T, that was detailed in Las Vegas. Now it’s time to head out to Barcelona, where MWC will start in two days and the slate will once again appear. Technically, its resolution qualifies as a bit above 1080p, since the tablet supports a 1920 x 1200 resolution. Leaving that aside, here’s a new teaser for the product.

This teaser was uploaded on YouTube hours ago, explaining the whole idea of getting more pixels onto the same surface, with the metaphor of some marbles. The newcomer got a mild facelift, but it keeps the 10.1 inch diagonal size and Super IPS+ panel, while the rest of the specs are the same Tegra 3 quad core CPU, 32/64GB of internal memory, 8 megapixel camera and Android 4.0. We also get a 2 megapixel camera and all the problems with WiFi and GPS are solved this times, responding to the public’s feedback.

The slate will be sold in North America starting Q2 2012 and we’re going to get some hands on time with it in Barcelona once our editor arrives there.
