The ASUS Memo Pad Smart is a tablet that was recently unveiled and it will be coming to Barcelona, at MWC 2013 soon enough. Before we get our hands on it, let’s check out an official promo of the slate.
Many people have compared this model to the ASUS TF300 and they’re right to do that, especially as far as the design goes and the specs are not at all far away from that model. It’s still a 10.1 inch slate with an IPS panel and a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. This is the first 10.1 inch slate in the brand new ASUS MeMo Pad range.
This model went on sale in Thailand in a world’s first a few days ago and previously it was leaked under the codename ME301T. The ASUS Memo Pad Smart runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and uses a 1.2 GHz CPU, 16 GB of ROM and 1 GB of RAM. There’s also a microSD card slot, a 5 MP camera and a micro HDMI port.
In Thailand the device goes for $360, while in Eastern Europe it’s priced at $450 as shown here.
