Remember the many ASUS tablets announced at Computex 2014 last week? Well, some of them have already started popping up for sale, including the model below. This is the ASUS MeMo Pad 7 ME176C, that features a 64 bit Intel Atom Z3745 processor, a quad core one.
This is an entry level model with a Bay Trail chip inside and it’s now available on some German dealers, but the prices are too steep for the hardware we get. The product is priced around 179 euros in Germany, but in the UK it goes for a more decent 150 euros. For this amount you get a 7 inch slate with an IPS display panel and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The newcomer has under the hood 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of flash storage and a microSD card slot.
We’ve also got WiFi N, Bluetooth 4.0 and two cameras, a 5 MP at the back and a 2 MP shooter upfront. The rear one also offers autofocus and this device comes in at 295 grams in weight and 9.6 mm in thickness. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Zen UI on top and relies on a 3950 mAh battery.
