2012 ended with a bunch of rumors concerning a new wave of ASUS tablets, all of them based on Android, some of them related to the Nexus 7 and some to the Memo Pad model. With CES 2013 only days away we should be seeing at least some of these models showcased in USA. Meanwhile we get a fresh leak, for a slate called ASUS ME301T MeMo.
This model fills in the list of recently leaked ASUS tablets, including the ASUS ME172V, ME371MB and ME570T. ASUS ME301T MeMo was spotted at the FCC a while ago and on January 2nd 2013 it received Bluetooth 4.0 certification. With a quick search you’ll uncover that the device is already listed in some European retailers’ offers. The same product pages mention a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the OS.
The display has a 10.1 inch diagonal, unlike most of the other smaller ASUS tablet leaked recently. The cool thing is that you can actually order this model, for some reason, in white, black, fucsia and blue. We could speculate that the product will debut at CES and retailers couldn’t wait for the launch. Also, you should know that the price tag is supposed to be somewhere in the range of 299 to 350 euros.
