Among the great devices at CES 2011 we’ve noticed the Asus Eee Slate EP121, a tablet that was selected for an Innovations Award during the show. The device is shown below, demoed in the video at the end of the article and specced after the break.

This is a Windows 7 Home Premium tablet, with a 178 degree viewing angle display and full support for many types of standard PC peripherals. Here’s the specs list for the EP121:

  • Display: 12.1 inch LED display, 1280 x 800 pixel
  • Memory: 32/64GB SSD storage, SDXC memory expansion, up to 4GB DDR3 RAM
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, USB 2.0, mini HDMI
  • Camera: 2MP

You can also connect this device to keyboard and external displays, for extra performance.
