Courtesy of ASUS we’ve had the chance to play with the pretty expensive ASUS Eee Slate B121 tablet, in a version that by chance comes with Windows 8, the Developer Preview installed. The OS is here just for kicks, but it’s excellent for us, since we have to get a taste of it before the big launch. And now here’s the unboxing of the device.

ASUS Eee Slate B121 comes with a pouch, a bunch of manuals, a CD with software, a Bluetooth keyboard, a wiping cloth for the screen and a huge two piece charger, all of them inside a huge box. Said box even has a handle for carrying, so it’s THAT big. After all we’re dealing with a 12 inch tablet here, one that costs around $1400 and comes with an Intel Core i5 processor.

I’m still thinking about an approach for the review, since it’s pretty unique to be dealing with a pricey business tablet and Win 8 at the same time. I have to mention that this device also comes with a stylus, that’s incorporated into its side, inside a special compartment. Some stylus action and some Windows 8 love in the full review in the following days.
