Rumours on the web are claiming that Asus and modu are working together on a netbook that incorporates a removable phone. The handset will be able to share its SIM card and data plan with the bigger device.

Modu is a name you’ve surely heard of, since they’re the maker of the popular modular handsets, that require jackets for extra functionality.

We wonder if it’s possible to create a portable PC with the same attributes, allowing the user to take it apart and into pieces, or add extra jackets for more features, like a camera, a physical keyboard and more.
