We’ve been sure about Apple’s next event being scheduled on March 15th for a while, but a fresh leak seems to offer a new theory. It’s going to happen on March 22nd, when the iPad Air 3/iPad Pro 9.7 inch and iPhone 5se will debut.
Korean site KG News pushed this date as a leak a few days ago and now another South Korean website, UnderKG is reporting that Apple employees are being asked to keep the days around March 22nd free in their calendar. This is 7 days later than previously rumored and we can’t help but wonder why the delay. The launches that usually happened in March, the iPad ones from years ago took place earlier in the month, or at the middle of it.
Anyway, we’re expecting the new iPad to be a 9.7 incher and keep the specs of the iPad Pro. It was only this week that it was proposed to be an iPad Pro 9.7 instead of the iPad Air 3. The device is said to have quad speakers, 4 GB of RAM, a Smart Connector and Apple Pencil support. The Apple A9X CPU should also be on board, as well as a slim waistline.
The iPhone 5se 4 incher and new MacBooks may also be shown at the event.
