It’s pretty clear now that next Wednesday, on March 7th we’ll see the iPAd 3 being launched. Whether or not it will be called the iPad HD or iPad 2S we don’t know, but now it appears that Apple will also be unveiling a cheaper 8GB iPad 2 on the same date.
The info comes from sources from the upstream supply chain, saying that we’ll also get two iPad 3 models: a 16GB unit and a 32GB one. Expectations are great for iPad tablets, with new estimations saying that the Cupertino giant might ship in Q1 2012 double the amount originally estimated weeks ago. I remind you that the iPad 3 is expected to have a 9.7 inch Full HD QXGA panel with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and a backlight module with two LED light bars.
Other rumored specs include a quad core Apple A6 processor, LTE and a 5 or 8 megapixel camera. Are you getting the iPad 3 or the cheaper iPad 2 8 GB and why? I also expect iOS 5.1 to debut during the same and maybe we’ll see some fresh apps to rock the new tablet, like Garage Band did last year.
