The web has been abuzz with rumors regarding the next iPhone and iPad, since we’re in the usual time frame of Apple launches after all. Both last year and the year before we’ve had early March debuts of iPads, but this year it doesn’t seem to be happening.
The insiders claim that we may see the next iPads in April and the next iPhones this summer. The fifth gen Apple tablet has already had some unconfirmed case leaks and some leaks regarding smaller bezels, that would make it look like a bigger iPad Mini. The iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display are both expected in April, if everything goes by the book and rumors are true.
The latest iPad launch came in November 2012, so it would be about time for Apple to introduce a new generation. I find it very strange that the Pad Mini 2 has managed to stay under the covers for so long and it hasn’t leaked yet. Previous claims about the iPad 5 said that it will adopt the thin film touchscreen technology in order to make it thinner and lighter, just like the iPad Mini.
