It’s been 24 hours since Apple announced the iPad 4, iPad Mini, new iMac, new MacBook Pro and Mac Mini and now it’s time to check out their first promo videos. The iPad Mini gets a detailed 4 minute vid, with Jony Ive explaining the thought that was put into making the device and the process behind it.
We also have a second video, showcasing the new iPad Mini Smart Cover, a new generation of accessory for the slate, one without hinge as far as I know. The Smart Cover comes in 5 different colours, while the iPad Mini is shown with its ability to display extra content compared to a regular Android 7 inch tablet. The Nexus 7 may have a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, but the iPad Mini is able to show more details on a web page in 7.9 inches and at 1024 x 768 pixels.
The device packs a dual core Apple A5 CPU, 5 megapixel iSight camera, front FaceTime HD camera and 16 GB of storage. iOS 6.0 is on board and basically we’re dealing with an iPad 2 that’s been made smaller and received a better camera. Care to spend $330 for it?
