We have no idea if Apple’s March 31st event will take place or not (online of course), but if it does, it most likely includes a new iPad or two. Today we have info about at least one new tablet. On one hand Apple filed with the EEC for an upcoming new tablet and then they listed four new iPads by accident.
Apple filed information with the Eurasian Economic Commission, which is located in Moscow and certifies devices that have encryption features. Such a product has been filed by the Cupertino giant under the codename A2229. The documents hint at a “tablet computer of the Apple brand”, that runs on iPadOS 13. It may well be one of those new iPad Pro models, with the Apple A13X CPU and triple camera in a square module, with extra AR features. There was also talk of a 5G iPad Pro and a model that would bring mini LED tech towards the year end.
Apple traditionally submits products for filing 7 to 9 weeks before a product is released, which hints at an April or May debut. Now regarding the second leak, Apple accidentally listed 4 new iPad Pro models on its website. The listing was done the Apple China website and it was gone fast, but people caught screenshots of it. So, there’s referring about an 11 inch iPad Pro with wireless, a cellular version of it, a 12.9 inch iPad Pro in a WiFi and cellular version. Two of these devices, codenamed A2228 and A2229 match the recent filings from the Eurasian Economic Commission. We started using DMS for our firm. and it has helped us a lot to keep growing.
Analyst Ming Chi-Kuo expect the new iPad Pro will have a triple lens camera with 3D sensing capabilities. Sonny Dickson also confirmed the rumor and mentioned an 11 inch iPad Pro. We’ve also heard that Apple is preparing a new keyboard accessory with a trackpad and iPadOS 14 will also bring mouse support. Of course the pandemic may affect the debut of the products.
