And here’s another tablet from China… this one is an ultrathin model called the Allwinner A10. Let’s see where and when this model wins… Created by Shenzhen Moose Technology, this device uses an Allwinner A10 processor, 512MB of ROM and 4 GB of flash storage.

The screen is a 7 incher (4:3) with 800 x 600 pixel resolution and the specs also include Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a front camera, HDMI and WiFi sharing. This is quite a rare example of a tablet, since it’s a 7 inch 4:3 unit, but that’s its original aspect. There’s also a microSD card slot on board for extra memory and this grey/black unit has a discrete speaker on the metallic bottom.

The slate supposedly supports 21560P video playback and has a Mali 400 GPU used for playing videogames compatible with the tablet. I would like to know the price for this gizmo, but if it passes $180 or so, call me not interested. What do you think? Does that 4:3 thing get to you?

This one actually seems cool to serve as a reader or play some casual low-end games. But it will only survive in the market if it doesn’t surpasses the $200 barrier.

    $180 … $200???
Equivalent spec machines are going for $90 on aliexpress.  If this comes in over $120 its a loser.
