Alienware product manager Eoin Leyden recently said that he discussed tablets with the people in the know a couple of times and mentioned issues and limitations that will come up in such a project. He also fears that the company won’t be able to satisfy the need of avid gamers at the moment. The lack of a proper processing solutions coupled with a good battery is probably what’s bothering him. I guess that till a slate is able to run the latest Batman gaming title, it won’t be considered worthy to be branded Alienware.

With the PS Vita quad core console entering Europe and the Nintendo 3DS already selling well, is there really a place for tablets on the gaming market?
