Alcatel isn’t exactly the first company that comes to mind when thinking about tablets. This brand has been associated with the Asian firm TCL for a while now, allowing them to expand into new segments, that include phablets and now slates.
The product shown here is the Alcatel One Touch Pop 7, a 7 inch slate that has been leaked on Google+ by @evleaks. The device isn’t exactly detailed, but we do know it will be a thin Android tablet with colourful cases, available in hot pink, yellow, light blue and red. This is where the information ends and our speculations start.
We suppose this model supports a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and that it packs 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage or even less, a microSD card slot and maybe a quad core MediaTek CPU. It may or may not have a back camera, but if it does, it’s probably a 3 or 5 MP unit. The battery should be in the range of 4000 mAh, maybe more and we also seem to get a front camera here.
