Acer already has two convertible devices under the name Switch, the Switch 10 and Switch 11 models and now there’s a Switch 12 coming. The product is a 12 incher, the Aspire Switch being a tablet with a completely new design and improved hardware.
The newcomer is shown in the images integrated here, as a 12 inch product with a keyboard in the mix. We can’t guarantee that the images are real and this model uses a hinge that allows users to turn the slate into a real convertible. You can place it on any surface, at any angle and you can use it as a tablet or a laptop efficiently. There’s a new keyboard on the Aspire Switch 12, that offers a sleek design.
As far as specs go, there’s a 12.5 inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, an Intel Core M processor clocked at 2.9 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There’s a microSD card slot, a microUSB and microHDMI port, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. We’ve got a front 2 megapixel shooter for video calls and Windows 8.1 preinstalled out of the box.
