Acer finally launched in India a device called the Spin 7, which is a record breaker, as it’s the world’s slimmest convertible. It’s just 10.98 mm thin and weighs a mere 1.2 kilograms. It was introduced at IFA 2016 and costs around $1600 in India.
This convertible notebook integrates a 14 inch Full HD touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The small details are important here, so we get silver hinges and diamond cut edges around the touchpad area. The brain of the device is an Intel Core i7 processor and we also get 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM in the mix and 256 GB of SSD storage. The touchpad is very wide and made of glass, plus Acer outfitted this model with Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony tech, for more immersive acoustics.
And things don’t even end here! We get a HD webcam with HDR imaging, two USB 3.1 Type C ports and Acer promises a battery life of up to 8 hours for the Spin 7, that sounds great. Available in matte black, the Acer Spin 7 is up for sale in major retail stores in India.
