Today, the U.S. Patent Office published another Apple’s patent application that reveals a new dock that could arrive with a flexible lightning connector.
The invention in the picture above shows a docking station for an electronic device that should have a better durability and flexibility thanks to the flexible lightning connector. This new function will allow users to choose the position of the device while charging, a thing that could be useful in a video presentation or in any other circumstances.
Apple’s invention relates to a docking station that has a more flexible and durable mechanism than any convetional docks connectors. Also, this type of dock will reduce the connector breaking from misuse. As you can see in the picture above, we’ll be able to choose at what angle to set the tablet/phone, in a manner that won’t harm either the device or the docking station.
