British Airways seems to have a newfound love for Apple’s main toy, the iPad… It appears that they will equip flight attendants with the Apple tablets, maybe in an attempt to achieve better customer service and safety.
What these iPads hold are safety documents, manuals, info about the passengers and the location of the passengers. Meal requests, Executive club status and much more will be showed on the 9.7 inch of the best selling tablet out there. 100 members of the flight crew in the British Airways have already tested the slate and the result were good.
This is by no means a premiere, since American Airlines distributed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to first class passengers on a couple of overseas flights in June. Now let’s see if the iPads prove more useful than good old pen and paper of the previous devices the attendants used.
